Narendra Modi app shares information about users with American company, says French cyber expert

A French cyber security researcher Elliot Alderson has claimed that the Narendra Modi mobile app shares private information of users with Clever Tap, a company in the United States.

The Narendra Modi mobile app has been created to get updates of PM Modi. Alderson claims that the details provided by users goes to a third-party domain called 'in.wzrkt.com'. This domain is owned by Clever Tap. The information is being passed on without the consent of the mobile app user.

The information being shared is that of the users' names, gender details, email IDs, and photos.

PM Narendra Modi has an exclusive website as well. His website mark>www.narendramodi.in is registered in the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the address of the BJP office in Akbar Road, New Delhi.
