Class 10 math & Class 12 economics board exams will be held again by CBSE after question paper leak
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the re-examination of class 10 maths exam, and the class 12 economics exams. The dates for re-examination will be announced in a few days.
Meanwhile, the Delhi Police are carrying out a detailed investigation of the question paper leak. They have set up a special investigation team (SIT) for this. More than two million students from across India have been affected.
The news of the leaked question papers first came out on 26 March. The news circulated on social media and websites. Helpless students could not do anything, but write the exam that was scheduled during that time. The CBSE denied news that the question papers were leaked.
The Aam Admi Party has blamed the central government for the question paper leakage. The re-exams have left many students dejected. They say their faith in the CBSE board is shaken.
The Union Minister for Human Resource Development Prakash Jawdekar has promised to put a new system in place from Monday. This system will ensure that question papers are kept confidential and there are no chances of it being leaked.
