Care & therapy enables children with autism to be a part of the mainstream, say experts

According to a survey, 23 out of 10,000 children in India have autism. The numbers have increased in the last few years.

Experts say that with regular care and therapy, children with autism can be a part of the mainstream, just like other kids.

The reality is that children with autism are often denied education and other opportunities that are enjoyed by others.

This is despite various studies that show that when a child with autism climbs the developmental ladder, they are able to communicate well and solve problems.

Children with autism have feelings and are able to take part in meaningful conversations. But it is critical to diagnose autism at an early stage so that treatment can start early.
