Lack of adequate sleep is a trigger factor for dementia
Are you someone who does not get enough sleep, or find yourself sleeping at during odd hours. If so, be careful as you face the risk of getting dementia.
These are the findings of Dr Michael Mosley, a British author, medical journalist, and TV host. His advice to everyone is to ensure they get a good night’s sleep! Dr Mosley says that five hours of sleep or less can cause dementia.
Dr Mosley says that most people believe that five to six hours of sleep is enough in a day. They make do with coffee and energy drinks, which is a bad habit.
Sleep must get top priority as lack of adequate sleep can also cause diabetes and other health problems.
Studies show that Indians are largely sleep deprived.
