Gujarat couple in their 70s set out on a 16,000-km bike ride adventure!

An elderly couple in their seventies from Vadodara in Gujarat have decided to take up an adventure!

74-year-old Mohanlal P. Chauhan, and his wife Leelaben, who is 67 years old, have started a 16,000-km bike ride.

The couple plan to travel across India, Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar, Thailand, and Cambodia during the long journey.

They started the trip on 18 January this year. They reached Jamshedpur on 30 March and their next stop will be Puri in Odisha.

The couple are riding a 1974 vintage Royal Enfield bike, with Leelaben sitting in a sidecar .

They have set a target of riding the bike for 200 km per day from 8 AM to 4 PM.

The two are hoping to inspire other senior citizens to live their life to the fullest.

It is commonly assumed that people in old age cannot have adventures. However, this couple is out to prove that assumption wrong!.
