It is raining medals for India at the Commonwealth Games 2018!

Indian weightlifters are on a winning spree at the Commonwealth Games 2018.

Punam Yadav won a gold in the 69-kg weightlifting championship. She did a combined of 222kg (100kg+122kg) to bring home the gold.

Indian weightlifter Gururaj set the ball rolling by winning the first medal for the country. He won a bronze at the opening day of the Commonwealth Games (CWG).

Manu Bhaker won gold for her performance in women's 10m Air Pistol finals event. Shooter Heena Sindhu brought home the silver.

Mary Kom has reached the semi-finals in the boxing championship. She is putting up a splendid performance in the 45-48 kg boxing event. Kom has won many laurels for India and the country is hoping she will do a repeat at the CWG.

Ravi Kumar will bring home a bronze in the men’s 10 metre air rifle shooting competition.

The table tennis team has defeated England to enter the final round of the match. So has the Indian badminton team.
