Heena Sidhu battles nerve problems to win gold at Commonwealth Games 2018

It’s raining medals for India at the Commonwealth games in Gold Coast. Heena Sidhu has bagged a gold medal for shooting. This will be India’s third gold medal at games.

Sidhu won the medal for women’s 25m pistol shooting event. She also broke a record with her remarkable performance! This is Sindhu’s second medal at the Commonwealth games. Her first silver medal was for a 10m air pistol event.

Sidhu has a nerve problem. That makes it difficult for her to press on the trigger of the pistol. But this lady has beaten all that odds to bag gold for her country.

Her husband Raunak Pandit is her coach. He is also the manager of the Indian shooting team.
