Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan will soon be seen in Shoojit Sircar’s film October. Dhawan says that he was touched by the romantic tale of a disabled couple while enacting his role.

Dhawan met with real-life couple Nehal Thakkar and Anup Chandran and was inspired by their love story.

The couple met at a medical convention. They soon discovered that they had both met with very similar accidents at the same spot, but three years apart. The spot was Palm Beach Road in Navi Mumbai. Even the cars they were traveling in were of the same make and model.

They got married after dating for seven years. What is even more interesting is that Nehal and Anup share the same birth date.

Dhawan is confident that the story of October will continue to inspire people to keep loving and believing in each other. He hopes it will spread a positive message.

October will release this week.
