India had another successful day at the Commonwealth Games 2018

It was another medal winning day for India at the Commonwealth Games 2018 yesterday.

Indian shooter Shreyasi Singh won the gold medal in the women's double trap event.

This is her second medal at the CWG as she had won a silver at the 2014 Glasgow Games.

Ankur Mittal and Om Mitharwal both won bronze in their respective men’s shooting events.

The Indian men's hockey team scored two goals in the final three minutes to beat England 4-3 and have made it to the semi-finals

Indian wrestler Sushil Kumar has entered the finals after defeating Connor Evans of Australia in the first round itself.

Wrestler Babita Kumari also won her initial matches and has moved to the higher levels.

India boxing champion Mary Kom is playing her first Commonwealth Games and will have a final match on Saturday against Northern Ireland's Kristina O'Hara.

Mary Kom beat Sri Lanka's Anusha Dilrukshi by 5-0 in the 45-48kg category semi-final on Wednesday.
