Another gold medal winning day for India at Commonwealth Games 2018

Indian boxer Vikas Krishan won the country’s third boxing gold at the ongoing Common wealth games on Saturday.

Krishan defeated Dieudonne Ntsengue of Cameroon in men's 75kg final match.

Earlier Mary Kom in the women's 45-48 kg and Gaurav Solanki in the men's 52 kg had also won Gold medals in boxing.

Krishan has managed to win the first CWG gold for India in middleweight boxing category.

PV Sindhu and Saina Nehwal also won their respective semi-finals matches on Saturday. The two badminton stars have become the first-ever all-Indian women's team to enter the finals at the Commonwealth Games.

Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat went on to win her second successive gold at the Commonwealth Games in the women's freestyle 50 kg Nordic System event.
