PM Narendra Modi in Sweden for two-day visit
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently in Sweden for a two-day visit to discuss trade, growth, global security, and climatic changes with the government of Sweden.
Mr Modi will also visit Britain for a meeting with the prime ministers of Nordic nations. These include Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden.
PM Modi will be in London to attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting. Britain is all set to explore new trade ties with the world after Brexit.
In London, he is expected to have talks with Pakistan's Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi. With India-Pakistan tense for the past few months, these talks might help change things for the better.
The PM's trip comes at a time when he faces severe criticism back in India for his response to the rape and murder of eight-year-old Asifa Bano from Kathua.
