Raw fruits and vegetables boosts mental health, says new study
A recent study says that consuming raw fruits and vegetables is good for mental health of a person.
Fruits and vegetables like kiwi, bananas, apples, dark leafy green vegetables, cucumber, and carrots are extremely good to reduce symptoms of depression and improve mental health.
People who eat fruits and vegetables regularly have a positive outlook towards life and maintain psychological well-being. Fresh fruits are better as canned fruits lose their nutrient content.
More than 400 young adults from New Zealand and the United States, aged between 18 to 25 years were surveyed. The study says that cooking and processing fruits and vegetables makes them useless. All the nutrients in fruits and vegetables are drained away.
