Verne Troyer, popular actor with dwarfism from Austin Powers series, is no more
Verne Troyer, the American actor best known for playing the part of Mini Me in the Austin Powers movies, is no more. Troyer also enacted many other famous roles, like Griphook the Goblin in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.
Troyer was 49 years old.
The cause of death was not given. A statement on Twitter read:

Troyer struggled with mental health issues. The statement on his death referred to his struggles too.

Troyer had spoken publicly about his struggles with alcohol addiction.
The actor had a genetic condition called achondroplasia dwarfism, due to which his height was 2 feet and 8 inches.
He started work in Hollywood as a stunt double, and went on to play parts in films like Dunston Checks In (1996), Jingle All the Way (1996), and Men in Black (1997).
His breakout role was in Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999). The role brought him widespread recognition and his character became a pop culture phenomenon.
