IPL 2018 - Chris Lynn helps Kolkata Knight Riders win against Royal Challengers Bangalore

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) posted a comfortable victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) thanks to a perfect innings from opener Chris Lynn. Lynn helped KKR score a comfortable six-wicket win against RCB.

KKR reached the target of 176 runs in 19.1 overs with Lynn scoring an unbeaten 62 off 52 balls with seven fours and a six. KKR captain Dinesh Karthik did his part with a 10-ball-23 to make it easy in the end.

KKR with eight points remained is in fourth place in the tournament, while Virat Kohli's team, RCB, has slumped further with their fifth defeat in seven games.

Lynn played the sweep shot against spinners with much success as RCB clawed their way back into the match during the middle overs.

However Lynn kept his composure along with captain Dinesh Karthik to win it for KKR.

RCB captain Virat Kohli was the stand-out performer with an unbeaten 44-ball-68. Kohli's innings was made up of five fours and three sixes.

Two of the three sixes struck by Kohli were hit off Andre Russell.
