Tremors in Delhi & other states after earthquake strikes Afghanistan

Delhi and its neighbour, Gurugram, experienced tremors on Wednesday after an earthquake struck Afghanistan. The magnitude of the quake was 6.2.

As per reports, the tremors were felt in several high-rise buildings in Delhi and Gurgaon at around 4.15 pm.

Reports of the tremors also came from Jammu and Kashmir and other states like Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh.

Fortunately there was no loss of life or property reported due to the earthquake.

People came out of buildings when the tremors started. There was panic in many areas.

The epicenter or point of origin of the earthquake is reported to be in the Afghanistan-Kazakhstan border.
