Ranchi hosts a summer camp for disabled children

Ranchi recently held a three-day summer camp for disabled children. The camp hosted more than 250 children and was a huge success. The children who took part came from poor families.

The summer camp was hosted by the Jharkhand State Council for Child Welfare (JSCCW). Jharkhand governor Draupadi Murmu was present on the last day of the summer camp.

She spent more than an hour with the children at the camp. They danced, sang, and showcased their skills in front of the governor.

Such camps for disabled children have become a regular feature in Ranchi. They are held every year for the past several years. Children with hearing, vision, and multiple disabilities took part in the camp.
