NGO organises boat ride for disabled people in Kochi

It was a fun day for a group of disabled people in Kochi, Kerala as they came together for a two-hour boat ride. The ride was organized by the NGO Thanal Palliative Care and Paraplegic Care Society.

More than 50 disabled people took part in the ride. They were accompanied by family members NGO staff. All of them danced, sang, and played games throughout the entire boat ride.

Many of them were seeing boats and ships for the first time. The age group was varied, ranging from 15-year-old Nidhin to 70-year-old Vasudeva Sharma.

All of them witnessed huge ships, mechanized boats, the traditional vallam, and cargo ships at Cochin Port. Their families too were glowing with happiness upon their close ones have a great time!

The trip was organised in association with CVJ foundation and Mentor Guru.
