Delhi girl Lavanya Jha scores third highest among disabled candidates in CBSE class 12 exams
The CBSE class 12 results for 2018 have been declared. This year, students with disabilities have done really well.
Of the 2914 disabled candidates who registered for CBSE class 12, 2836 candidates appeared for exam and 2482 students cleared the papers.
Lavanya Jha scored the third-highest among the disabled students with an overall percentage of 97.4%. A visually impaired student, Lavanya moved from her hometown Patna to Delhi when she was in Class 11 to pursue her education.
She hopes to pursue psychology from Lady Shri Ram College.
She says her success was due to a combination of self-discipline and regular practice. Her teachers were very helpful as well and gave her notes that were crucial to her scores.
