Ludhiana court gets two exclusive e-rickshaws!

Next time you are at Ludhiana court premises with your elderly parents or disabled family member, do not worry about mobility. Here is some good news for you!

The Ludhiana district judicial complex will now own 2 e-rickshaws that will ferry disabled passengers and elderly across the court complex. Need more? The service is free of cost!

The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) launched e-rickshaws in the court complex on Tuesday.

The three wheeler e-rickshaw will run on two batteries. It will be available every day in the main gate from 9 am onwards.

Authorities believe that this will help disabled people and elderly a lot. They will feel happy about entering the court premises, and need not worry about mobility across the court complex.

Officials said that they prefer e-rickshaws because it is pollution free and can be managed easily. The e-rickshaws will be operated by para legal volunteers inside the Ludhiana court premises.
