Baba Ramdev's new app taken off Google Playstore for security reasons

Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev seems to attract controversy for anything he does. The latest is over his app, Kimbho, that has been taken off Google Playstore due to security reasons.

Baba Ramdev’s brand Patanjali launched the messaging app just this week as competition to Whatsapp! It was promoted heavily as a swadeshi messaging platform.

A famous French security expert pointed out that Kimbho app was not secure, and that he could access data of users from the app.

Kimbho app had more than 50,000 users after a few hours of its launch.

Users could venture into private and group chats through Kimbho. They could make voice and video calls as well.

It also has features like share text, audio, photos, videos, stickers, quickies, location, GIFs, and doodle.
