An Indian driver accused of killing an Australian faces extradition after 10 years.
The case of Puneet is being heard in Delhi court and the judge is about to decide whether he should be sent back to Melbourne for sentencing.
Puneet is accused of drunk and high speed driving which resulted in a massive crash and took the life of a 19 year old student. The incident took place in 2008 and Puneet was arrested in Australia.
However, when he was out on bail, Puneet used the passport of a friend and came back to India.
His lawyer is now claiming in court that he cannot be sent back to Australia due to being mentally unfit.
The case will be heard again and the judge will decide whether Puneet should be sent to Australia to face the charges or be allowed to stay in India.
