NRI doctor donates towards welfare of hearing and speech impaired school in Punjab

In today’s world, there are very few people who would go overboard to help others. Even those with lots of money in their bank accounts are hesitant to spend it on the needy. Dr Sukhdev Singh Grover, an NRI from the United States, is being an ideal example for generations to come.

Dr. Grover recently donated Rs 1,35,000 towards an NGO that works for hearing and speech impaired students at Bathinda in Punjab. Faculty and students at the Mahant Gurbanta Dass School are excited and overwhelmed after this gesture by Dr. Grover.

Dr. Grover, who hails from Mehma Sawai village is a known figure in Bathinda. Since the last six years, he has been contributing towards the welfare of hearing and speech impaired students in Bathinda. Dr. Grover is a renowned chest specialist in Pittsburg at Pennsylvania.

Locals in Bathinda says that Dr. Grover has always been there to lend a helping hand for the needy in his hometown Bathinda.

The cheque was handed over to the school and district officials by Dr. Grover’s nephew Tinku Grover. Officials said that the money will be of immense help for children at the Mahant Gurbanta Dass School.
