Heart diseases amongst youngsters due to unhealthy lifestyle, says experts
In modern times, many youngsters are affected by different types of lifestyle diseases. Most of it is caused due to unhealthy foods, lack of exercise, long working hours, and not taking care of one’s health. It affects different organs of the body, including the heart.
Patna in Bihar recently hosted the 7th Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery Summit. Experts at the event pointed out that most of the heart diseases are caused due to a unhealthy lifestyle.
Heart attacks, diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol diet, smoking, stressful life and obesity are some of the most common diseases that hits youngsters.
A doctor who attended the summit said that preventing heart diseases is better than finding a remedy once it hits you. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is the only solution.
Congenital heart diseases affect children. eight out of 1,000 children born in India have congenital heart problems. This can be hereditary or genetic.
Doctors who attended the event also stressed on the importance of heart transplantation. Many people in India are still unaware about this. They must be made aware of this practice.
