Himachal Pradesh will focus on quality health care, says Chief Minister
India boasts of thousands of hospitals and health care centres across the country. There are both private and government centres. But how many of them provide quality health care that is trusted by the common man? Looks like, Himachal Pradesh is going to set an example by providing quality health care.
Jai Ram Thakur, Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh said that providing quality health care is the most important thing for the state government. He said that new hospitals will be built, looking at the requirements of the people. State-of-the-art facilities will be implemented in the existing hospitals in the state. New doctors and health care experts will also be appointed.
Thakur said that the Mukhyamantri Nirog Yojana, which is a central scheme, will be implemented across Himachal Pradesh to provide quality health care to the common man. Facilities will be enhanced in rural areas in Himachal Pradesh.
Thakur, who was inaugurating the silver jubilee celebrations of the Himachal Dental College and Hospital, congratulated the college as well. This dental college has been working towards welfare of poor, elderly and disabled people living in nearby areas.
