Chinmay beats cerebral palsy to emerge rank holder!

Not every student is lucky to attend schools or colleges. Not many are lucky to even attend day schools. Beating all odds, students at the Bajirao Road Saraswati Vidya Mandir in Pune did extremely well for their Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exams.

Most of the students in the school work during the day and attend classes in the evening. Chinmay Chandrashekhar Mokashi who has cerebral palsy, came second in the school with 53.4%. Chinmay has to undergo physiotherapy sessions every day morning. But he even managed to get a 100% attendance as well!

His teachers say that Chinmay is not able to hold a pen properly. But that has not put down his spirits. This young boy has been striving day in and out to score well for his exams.

Chinmay hopes that he can be an active member of an NGO very soon. He wants to work towards welfare of disabled people. He wants to take up the humanities group and help others.
