Maitrey Govind Rane, boy with cerebral palsy, scores high i JEE advanced exams!
Successful people with disabilities have proved that nothing can stop a person from chasing their dreams. Latest to join the league to Maitrey Govind Ranade, a student with cerebral palsy from Patiala in Punjab!
Maitrey has cleared the JEE advanced exam to reach top heights. This young boy from Ryan international school hopes to get admission into the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). He got the 21st rank in the All India Rank JEE Advanced exams for people in disabled category.
Maitrey has also scored high marks for his high school exams. He scored a 94.8% in his class 12 board exams!
He has decided to choose the non medical stream and follow footsteps of his father who is a colonel with the Indian army. Maitrey’s mother works as a professor with the department of computer applications in Punjabi University.
Maitrey took the help of Whatsapp groups and the internet to study his daily lessons. The guidance and supervision of his parents and teachers helped him a lot.
This young boy could chase his dreams only due to his determination and hard work.
