Delhi government to introduce happiness curriculum in schools!
In today’s world, education is burdensome and traumatic for children. Many even slip into depression. It is high time that our government takes up measures to make things easier for children in India.
The Delhi government is already on its path to create something unique and novel to ease the burden of academics. They are introducing a happiness curriculum for children! All the government run schools will have this new curriculum from next academic year onwards.
Manish Sisodia, Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, has said that the government wants to create a generation that can work and serve people happily. This new curriculum will help doing that!
The curriculum includes lessons on meditation, moral values and mental exercises. An expert panel consisting of 40 members has created this new curriculum. The best part is, there will be no exams for this! Children will be assessed with the help of a happiness index.
The new curriculum will be launched by Dalai Lama on 2 July!
