Heart problems can cause depression and anxiety, says new study
A new study has found out that more than one third of people with heart diseases are at a high risk of being depressed or anxious. Some of them might even end up having psychiatric disorders due to heart diseases!
When a person has a heart failure, they will have problems to pump enough blood in the body. This can cause fatigue and even shortness of breath.
A researcher who was part of the study said that depression has been linked to the development and progression of heart failure and other cardiovascular diseases.
Depression and anxiety will only cause more problems in a person with a heart problem because they will refuse to eat well, sleep, diet, exercise or even eat medicines! This in turn will have a negative impact on their general well-being.
Researchers are now doing an in-depth study on the matter to see how people with heart problems can tackle depression and anxiety.
