Happy Curriculum to begin in Delhi schools by next week
Last month, the Delhi government had announced that they are going to start a happy curriculum in state run schools for enhancing the mental health of children. The classes are all set to begin next week!
This new happy curriculum is for students from nursery to class 8. They will be given classes on meditation, yoga, games and extracurricular activities under this new curriculum.
Today's times, students are burdened with academic pressure and too many exams. Mental health of many children has been affected due to this. They often forget to live their childhood carefree and innocent!
Delhi government has introduced this new curriculum so that children can relieve themselves from academic pressure, at least for some time. The best part is that this curriculum does not have any exams!
Every day, students will have to attend a 45 minute session which will be filled with fun activities and storytelling. These stories will have the right messages for children of this generation.
The happy curriculum was launched by Dalai Lama. Authorities also believe that by introducing this new curriculum, they can bring down terrorism, corruption and pollution because everything begins from children!
