Over 20 people injured in PM Narendra Modi’s West Bengal rally

More than 20 people were injured during the public rally of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in West Bengal’s Midnapore on Monday.

The incident occurred when part of the tent at the rally collapsed on the people. The injured were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The number of people at the rally was more than expected and many people climbed on the iron rods that were holding up the tent.

This caused the rods to break and large part of the tent fell on the people below. Most of the injuries were caused when people got hit by the Iron rods.

PM Narendra Modi later went to the hospital to visit the injured people and thanked them for being present at the rally in large numbers despite the heavy rains.

He was seen giving autographs to the injured people at the hospital.
