Indian cricketer Mithali Raj, who is presently captaining India in the ongoing ICC Women's World T20, has achieved a milestone no other Indian cricketer has until now.
Raj is the highest T20I run-scorer for India in the T20I format, and is ahead of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. Other cricketers in this list are India women's captain Harmanpreet Kaur, Suresh Raina, and M S Dhoni.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) shared her achievement through a tweet.

Raj has played well at the ongoing ICC Women's World T20. She scored a superb 56 against Pakistan in India's second Group B clash, and then later a 51-run knock against Ireland, helping India qualify for the semi-final.
She scored 56 runs off 51 balls and did this on her own with little support from her teammates.
Congratulatory messages have been pouring in for her. "What a knock from Mithali Raj," said Moumita."Played 56 balls.. scored her half century and got out in the 19th over with a s/r of 91 .. We are not going to win this tournament with this kind of approach considering batting is our main strength."
Firstpost Raj works as a "team's insurance policy. She allows the naturally attacking players like @mandhana_smriti & @JemiRodrigues to exercise their free-flowing style without having to worry about a collapse. "
