Women's World T20 - India on top of Group B after beating Australia

The Indian women's cricket team are unbeaten in the ongoing ICC Women's World T20. They beat Australia by 48 runs in their final Group B match. With this, India has Group B with eight points while Australia is in second place with six points.
India opener Smriti Mandhana hit 83 off 55 balls to help her team post 167/8 in 20 overs. In reply, Australia could score only 119/9 as the Indian spinners picked up wickets at regular intervals.
Anuja Patil was the best in the bowlers with 3/15 in 3.4 overs. , Radha Yadav and Deepti Sharma picked two wickets each for India.
India captain Harmanpreet Kaur won the toss and opted to bat. She scored 43 runs, including three boundaries and as many sixes. Mandhana also played a quick score.

Kaur said she was proud of India's performance. "We worked really hard, today the fielding coach must be happy with the way we fielded, proud of the girls. We always enjoy when batting together."
