UK researchers develop app to manage anxiety
Anxiety and depression can now be managed with Catch It, a smartphone app that has been developed by researchers in the UK. It helps users understand their moods and deal with them through cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).
CBT is a therapy that helps to change the way one thinks and behaves. The process used by the app to deal with negative moods is referred as Catch It, Check it, Change it.
Initial results from trials show a significant decrease in negative mood intensity among participants.
