Rajinikanth’s 2.0 break all records at Indian box office

Rajinikanth's latest '2.0' has broken all records in South Indian box office. The movie that released on 29 November was welcomed by Rajinikanth fans in both South and North India. According to reports, the movie collected a whopping Rs 2.64 crore at the box office on the first day of its release. 2.0 collected a lot of money overseas too. The movie has become the highest grossing Indian film ever. After four days of its release, the movie has already entered Rs 100 crore club!

Cherry to the pie is Akshay Kumar's mind-blowing performance as Pakshi Rajan. The movie has garnered positive reviews from critics as well. The movie, which is a science fiction action film, is a sequel to the Rajinikanth's 'Enthiran' that released in the year 2010. 2.0 was made with Rs 550 crores had already collected Rs 370 crores by selling its satellite rights, distribution rights and digital.

Apart from Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar, the movie also stars Amy Jackson, Sudhanshu Pandey, Adil Hussain, Anant Mahadevan and Kalabhavan Shajon in other prominent roles. AR Rahman has composed music for the movie which has been edited by South India's most popular editor Anthony. 2.0 is directed by Shankar and produced by Subaskaran.
