India wins one day series in Australia

Team India has created history again by winning the third One Day International match against Australia on Friday. The first two matches had been won by both the teams and the final match went in favor of India 2-1.

India has become the first guest team to beat host Australia in all three match formats. India won their first Test series win in Australia this month and had also won a T20I series in 2016.

Australia had set a target of 231 runs for India and openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan didn’t stay for long and were sent back soon

M S Dhoni helped India get a seven-wicket win by making 87 runs off 114 balls and was named the Man of the Series. Dhoni batted with Virat Kohli for a 54-run partnership till Kohli’s wicket was taken for 46.

Leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal recorded the best bowling figures by any bowler in ODI cricket in Australia and took 6 wickets. The team has made the country and cricket fans proud again and praises are being showered from all corners.

Sachin Tendulkar‏Verified account @sachin_rt tweeted,”The guile with which @yuzi_chahal has bowled today has been beautiful. He has tricked the batsmen and set them up to play shots he wanted them to play. A well deserved 6 wicket haul. Trump card selection! #INDvAUS #FightOfMight”

Sir Jadeja‏ @SirJadeja wrote, “Some idiots questioned his presence in the team, he replied by Winning Man Of The Series. Burnol moment for haters. MS Dhoni, the Legend. #INDvAUS #AUSvIND #Dhoni”
