PM Modi launches ‘One Nation-One Card’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two day visit to his native state Gujarat.
While there, the PM addressed a large number of people at a rally in Ahmedabad yesterday and announced several welfare schemes.
He also inaugurated several key projects in the city including, cancer and eye hospitals and Phase-1 of Ahmedabad Metro.
During his Gujarat stay the Prime Minister is also launched the 'One Nation-One Card'.
The card will make travelling across the country convenient as it will combine smart cards used for different public transport services into one.
As per reports, once launched, people will be able to use this card to pay for various modes of traveling anywhere in the country including metro services .
Many people feel the cards will be benefit frequent travelers.
