Answer: The three blood disorders included in RPWD Act are Thalassemia, Hemophilia and Sickle Cell Disease (SCD). While persons with SCD are given quota in higher education upon providing a disability certificate, they have not been granted reservation in jobs.

This issue has been raised by affected groups in a letter to Prime Minister Modi as well as in the Supreme Court.
