Virat is 1st cricketer with 100 million fans on social media

Indian skipper Virat Kohli, one of India's most popular celebrities, has added yet another golden feather to his cap. Team India's captain has become the first ever cricketer to have 100 million followers on social media.
Thirty-year-old Kohli has 33.5 million followers on Instagram, 37 million on Facebook and 29.5 million on Twitter. He is the third Indian after Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Priyanka Chopra to have over 100 million followers on social media.
Kohli's fans took to social media to congratulate and praise the cricketer.

Undoubtedly, Kohli is one of the most loved cricketers across the world. He has been active in endorsing international brands along with his wife and Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma. Known as the power couple of Bollywood, Virat and Anushka got married more than a year back at a private ceremony in Italy. Social media, being popular amongst youngsters has definitely helped Kohli.
