  • Hi Bhavna, I am 40 years old and have spina bifida from birth. My lower body is affected. I found out about wheelchair cricket from YouTube and am excited that this is played in India. I want to play too. I have an athletic build and have been playing cricket for 20 years with friends. Can you help me with some contacts? Thanks. Amar Krishna.

Answer – Hello Amar. Wheelchair cricket is played at a national level in India on a small scale and is growing in popularity. There are associations that promote wheelchair cricket at the state level. Depending on which state you are based in, you can reach out to the local association.

To get more information in this regard, you can also check out the website of Wheelchair Cricket India at http://wcia.org.in/. They are also on Facebook – https://www.facebook.com/wccfi/

Hope this answers you question and all the best to you.
