Around 8000 guests attended swearing in of PM Modi

The swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was a grand affair which saw presence of several world leaders as well as Indian celebrities.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the oath as the PM of India for a second consecutive term in Rashtrapati Bhavan yesterday.
He tweeted before the ceremony started and wrote,"Honoured to serve India! Watch the oath taking ceremony."
The ceremony was attended by around 8,000 guests including leaders from the BIMSTEC member countries, chief ministers, party leaders, members of opposition, diplomats, and ambassadors.
President of Bangladesh, President of Sri Lanka, President of the Kyrgyz Republic, President of Myanmar, are some of the world leaders who attended.
Celebrities such as Rajnikanth, Asha Bhonsle, Anupam Kher, Anil Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut, Shahid Kapoor, Karan Johar were also present.
The guests were treated to delicious and mouth watering delicacies from across the country during the dinner and at the high tea earlier. Samosas, rajbhog, lemon and fruit tart, paneer dishes, and both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes were served at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
The dinner consisted of several dishes of fish, chicken, mutton, vegetables and the "Dal Raisina along with vegetable pulao and a variety of sweets.
Minister Suresh Prabhu did not make it to the cabinet this time and congratulated the oath takers on social media.
