Not exercising for a few days can affect the brain
Researchers have found that not exercising even for 10 days can have a bad effect on the brain.
A study was done on 12 active, healthy people between the ages of 50 and 80 years who exercised regularly.
They were told to stop any exercise for 10 days and their brains were checked after that.
The blood flow had reduced in eight different parts of the brain and this affected its healthy functioning.
