This helps the blind operate regular computer keyboards

The Rotary club of Thane hills has started a project to help the blind use a computer like any other person.

They can use a normal computer to type documents and make Excel sheets.

The project has been tested at the blind school in Thane where 15 students were taught to use the computer program.

The keyboard used is not in Braille. It tells the user what he or she is typing, and translates readable books to audible books.

The program will now be taught in 400 blinds schools across India.
