Greek blind children win award for making tactile map

Three Greek children with a visual impairment won first prize in an international map painting contest.

The children designed a tactile painting and presented the project, titled My place in today’s world through my perspective.

It was selected from a total of 189 paintings submitted by students of primary and high schools from 38 countries.

The tactile map created by the three children is displayed in a museum in Greece.
