University students create robot to help children with disabilities
A few students of a university in the United States have come up with an idea to help children with disabilities.
They have created a robot with the support of an assistive technology firm.
The students have programmed the robot Buddy to put its hand over its chest and narrate a poem of loyalty.
They are also programming the robot to play a simple racing board game.
The firm hopes to use Buddy as a teaching assistant to help children with disabilities.
The robot will assist teachers to provide one-on-one attention to such children.
