World’s most heat-resistant material found

Scientists have found a material that can tolerate a temperature of nearly 4,000 degrees Celsius.

The material can be used to make the shield or outer protection cover of space vehicles. It can help them move even faster.

The material is called hafnium carbide and its melting point is higher than any other material found so far.

The material could help with the making of new types of spacecraft that can take man deeper into space.
