Artist creates program to help the elderly
An American theatre artist has created a program to help elders with memory problems.
The program called Time-Slips motivates people with diseases like Alzheimer’s to create stories inspired by any pictures they are given.
Storytelling is one of the oldest forms of communication. The idea of storytelling is to encourage people to imagine freely and tell stories without having the pressure to remember.
It gives people with memory problems a chance to communicate and improve their creative thinking skills.
