Bihar spends least money on education
Bihar has the largest number of illiterate people in India. Bihar’s primary education system is also suffering from a huge shortage of teachers.
The classrooms have students but not enough teachers to educate them properly.
This is according to a study by IndiaSpend. Bihar also spends the least amount of money per student.
The data states that there are over two lakh vacancies in government elementary schools in Bihar.
As per government data, 5% of children in Bihar from 6 to 14 years do not go to school.
