Case registered against Shah Rukh Khan by Rajasthan government

The Kota government railway police has filed a case against actor Shah Rukh Khan for rioting, unlawful assembly, damaging public property and obstructing a railway official during the promotion of his film on board a train.

SRK travelled on the August Kranti Express from Mumbai to Delhi to promote his latest film Raees. The case has been registered after a stall owner at the Kota railway station complained that when the train reached the platform, a large number of fans gathered at the coach. SRK threw gifts and footballs at the waiting crowd and this led to a stampede on the platform.

The vendor said that public property and his stall were damaged. The crowd also robbed cash from his stall.
