Saks Fifth Avenue to open stores in India
American company Saks Fifth Avenue Inc. is likely to partner with Aditya Birla Fashion Retail Limited to open two stores in India.
The first store may open in Aerocity, near the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi. The second store will open in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex.
The new stores will allow wealthy Indians to purchase high-quality, costly clothes, cosmetics and accessories.
The idea is to target the customers who are rich with family wealth of over Rs 25 crore or annual income in the range of Rs 2 to 4 crore and increase its business in the country.
