Class 11 student develops device for the vision impaired
Anang Tadar, a class 11 student from Arunachal Pradesh, has created a special device for the visually impaired.
The device is called Goggle For Blind, G4B, and is based on the method bats use to communicate. The device uses sound waves and echoes to detect objects in the surroundings.
Anang’s brilliant invention won the most innovative award at a recent science festival. The United Nations will launch the G4B in the market.
Anang has been asked to modify his design to make it compact, light and easy to wear.
